Indicator and Side mirror

Today, we found out that the left front indicator is not working. The tickling sound when the indicator is turned on quickened. We knew something is wrong. So, we got our backpacker host , Anthony to help us. He unscrewed the indicator panel and took out the bulb then gave us direction to Repco to get the light bulb replacement.
The light bulb costs NZD4.60 for 2.

Another thing, we went to Repco again, thinking that we can just replace the mirror without actually replacing the entire side mirror. The lady directed to Smith and Smith Glass which is just 100m away, near Warehouse. The Maori guy said he can't cut the glass for us coz the frame holding the mirror is missing.

We drove to Tahananui Spare parts to get the side mirror replacement. The repair guy told us for NZD50 he will fix it for us.

What a day!

Cable Bay

I've been staying in The Bug backpacker for more than a week now. While waiting for the job in Sealord, we just killed time doing nothing.

We went to Cable Bay yesterday with 3 other girls - Esther, Koo and Luna. It is about 15 minutes from city center.

The water was very clear and blue and the weather -super fine! Blue skies and blue water..great company..

We hiked to the top to get the whole view. On the way up, we saw some sheeps grazing the green grass, inhaling the fresh air. For a moment there, I wish I was a sheep and a NZ born sheep! What a good life, just eating and enjoying the breathtaking view from a top.
